Aid dependency
Aid dependency refers to the reliance of a country or region on foreign aid as a primary or significant source of funding for development and economic growth. Some critics argue that aid dependency can create a culture of dependency and undermine the incentives for a country to develop its own domestic resources and institutions. Others argue that aid can play a critical role in supporting development and addressing poverty in countries with limited resources or facing significant challenges.
