Dementia is a broad term that is given to a range of conditions whose common symptoms are problems with memory loss, thinking, problem solving and speaking. Alzheimer’s Disease is the most common cause of dementia. It is a physical disease associated with the progressive decline of the brain function and affects more people in the UK than any other form of dementia.
