Deprivation linked to poorer cancer outcomes

Research led by Cancer Research UK shows that cancer death rates are 74% higher amongst the most deprived populations in Scotland compared to the least deprived.
Around 4,900 extra cancer cases a year are linked to deprivation in Scotland, which equates to around 13 avoidable cancer cases a day. (2/4)
