Deprivation linked to poorer cancer outcomes

Research led by Cancer Research UK shows that cancer death rates are 74% higher amongst the most deprived populations in Scotland compared to the least deprived.
The link between deprivation and cancer outcomes is not just a Scottish problem though, as you can see from the data below.
