Groupthink

Groupthink is a behavioural concept. Groupthink is a phenomenon that occurs when a group of people make irrational or poor decisions because the desire for harmony or conformity within the group overrides the ability to think critically or objectively. Groupthink can occur when group members are under pressure to come to a decision quickly, or when the group is highly cohesive and resistant to outside influence.
