Piaget
Piaget was a Swiss Psychologist who developed theory on cognitive development (1936). He believed that cognitive development is progressive, where every child passes through four stages in the development of intelligence. The four stages of cognitive development were:
- Sensorimeter (0-2 years)
- Pre-operational (2-7 years)
- Concrete operations (7-11 years) and
- Formal operations (11-18 years)
