This is a really insightful piece that highlights the multi-dimensional aspects of poverty in the UK.
Aditya Chakrabortty isolates a number of factors: food, fuel, child, clothing, transport and digital, among others.
And he's right: poverty is not just about a lack of income, it's fundamentally about a lack of opportunity and it's about social exclusion as a result of the intersection of various factors, and instead of paying it lip-service, the article argues that we need to be serious in tackling it.
